Question: How much does it cost?

There is a $300 per person Reader Event Fee for the Reader Appreciation Event. This is separate from the cruise price. Once the Reader Event Fee is paid, you will receive a link to the website where you will register for the cruise. 

 

Question: How much does the cruise cost?

Triple/Quad occupancy and suites are available by request. Payment plans are available.

The cruise deposit is $500* per cabin. *Suites may require a higher deposit.

 

Question: Is the $300 per person Reader Event Fee refundable?

Here is the Reader Event Registration Cancellation Policy

Cancel by 11/9/2024 to receive a 100% refund of the $300 per person Reader Event Fee. 

Cancel by 01/9/2025 to receive a 50% refund of the $300 per person Reader Event Fee.

There are no refunds of the Reader Event Fee for cancellations after January 10, 2025.

 

Question: When is the final payment due for the cruise?

The final payment due date is October 15, 2024. Payment plans for the cruise are available. Let us know if you want to set up a monthly payment plan for your cruise.

 

Question: Can I make payments? 

The Reader Event Fee of $300 is due in full when you register.

Your deposit of $500 per stateroom is due in full when you make the cruise reservation to hold your stateroom. The balance of the cruise reservation is due October 15, 2024.

Question: What's included in the price?

This price includes all cruise taxes, fees, gratuities, all meals, water, iced tea, and regular coffee with your meals. Any beverages beyond that (soda, alcoholic beverages, and specialty coffees) can be purchased individually or you can purchase beverage packages that include these. See below for more information on the activities and entertainment included in the price of the cruise.

 

What ship are we sailing on?

Question: How do I book internet/drink/dining packages and cabanas for the beach day?

Go to https://www.royalcaribbean.com/

Click on “ALREADY BOOKED”

If this is your first time logging in, enter your Last Name, Departure Day (February 9, 2025), Reservation number, and Ship (Symphony of the Seas). Once you are logged in, click on “Plan My Cruise” to enter Royal Caribbean’s Cruise Planner. Most packages (dining, beverage, internet, etc…) will be available about 6 months before your sail date. Click on “PERFECT DAY” to book waterpark passes, cabanas, beach party passes, etc.

 

Question: Will you help me find a roommate?

The best place to look for a roommate is in the Facebook group:

Question: What happens if my roommate cancels?

If your roommate cancels, you have the option to add a new roommate to your reservation or you can change your reservation to a single occupancy and pay the additional cost.

 

Question: Where should I park if I'm driving to the cruise?

There is parking available at the Port of Miami. More options will be listed once we get closer to the sail date. 

 

Question: Will there be a pre-cruise hotel and shuttle package?

Yes! We are working with a local hotel to create a pre-cruise hotel and shuttle package. Details will be announced once we are closer to the sail date. 

 

Question: Do you offer travel insurance?

Yes! When you register for the cruise, you will have the option to request travel insurance. While not required, travel insurance is *highly* recommended. 

 

Question: Can I reserve an accessible stateroom?

 If you need an accessible stateroom, please send an email to lmcdonald@crusieplanners.com and let us know which stateroom category you prefer. Availabilty is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. We will work with Royal Caribbean to reserve your preferred stateroom category. 

Important Information from Royal Caribbean: Accessible staterooms are designed for guests with mobility disabilities and other disabilities that require the use of the features associated with accessible staterooms. Upon reserving an accessible stateroom, Royal Caribbean requires guests to acknowledge the need for the accessible stateroom by completing a Guest Special Needs Form.
